Round 3 of Interclub was played at Green Acres on a wet & cold day. We had a fantastic 4.5 – 2.5 win over Rosanna. It was close all day with 6 of the 7 matches going to the 18th and we didn’t lose a single one of those matches. A wonderful group of spectators braved the conditions to cheer home the players as they came to the final hole. It was an exciting win & well deserved by a team that gave their all in very trying conditions.
This week we played Kew at Heidelberg. It was the clash of the the 2 undefeated teams & when it was all done and dusted there were still 2 undefeated teams after we squared the match. The conditions at Heidelberg were vey wet & heavy & it was a great team effort. The team has had an outstanding season so far & their enthusiasm & team spirit has been wonderful. We now head into the final round with the chance to be Interclub champions in our own hands.
